Blacksauce Kitchen is a celebrated Black-owned soul food restaurant and catering company in Oakland, California, founded by chef Fernay McPherson. Born as a pop-up at Oakland public markets, McPherson's deeply personal Southern cooking — rooted in her grandmother's recipes — earned coverage from the New York Times, Food52, and Bon Appétit.
