Destiny Arts Center

Destiny Arts Center is a Black-founded youth arts education organization in Oakland, California, providing high-quality dance, martial arts, theater, and visual arts training to young people ages 2 to 22 regardless of financial circumstances. Founded in 1989, Destiny Arts Center serves over 1,500 youth annually using the transformative power of art to build confidence, community, and leadership in Oakland. One of the Bay Area's most respected youth arts institutions and a cornerstone of Oakland's cultural life.
